#NAME! error

Your version of Excel is outdated. The spreadsheet currently requires Microsoft Excel 2021 or 365

#VALUE! errors

There are 4 common reasons to get this error:

  1. The most common reason is you are missing an amount for Fed (g). in the example below, Grape doesn’t have a number in the Fed(g) column. Just entering a number (even zero) or deleting the food will fix this.

2. The food isn’t in your database. In this example below, APPPLES is spelled wrong and doesn’t match what is in the database. This sometimes happens if you are copy/pasting from another sheet.

3. The food isn’t active in NaviGator and so doesn’t get sent to Excel.  See the screenshot below for how to activate the food in NaviGator.

In NaviGator > Settings > Edit Foods:

4. The final option is that even though the food is active and is in the database, but you have no nutrient data for it.
