Translate the Software

If you want to see ZDN in your local language, please help support a language translation effort.

Currently, there is an ability to translate the user interface (buttons, application text).

I am working on translating report texts and pop-up window texts next (not available yet).

To help translate ZDN to your local language:

1. Edit this page below to sign up for your language. This will help prevent duplicate efforts! (Click on "anonymous" in the upper right hand corner to start editing)
2. Download the translation file (an Excel sheet). There are about 750 terms that need to be translated (examples of terms: Edit Diets, Print, Quit, Save, Define custom units, Accession Number, House Name).
3. Follow the instructions on the Excel sheet. Gather a team to help you - it's a lot of work!
4. When the Excel sheet is complete, email it to heidi AT zoodiets dot com and she will generate a local language version for people to download.
